The past month has been extremely enjoyable. I am loving the opportunity I have of taking care of my family. Washing clothes and cooking dinner may not seem like a dream life to you, but I am loving every moment.

Today, I had the amazing opportunity of spending time with Robin McGee. We are not related by blood, but marriage. She is Kevin McGee’s wife, and Kevin is Bryan’s cousin. We were all married the same summer. I am sure there are some pictures somewhere of us at the bridal shower the family gave us together.

Kevin and Robin are missionaries in Africa, and they have three beautiful children. Robin and I only see each other every few years and I love picking back up where we left off. I feel like we never miss a beat.

I love hanging out with people who love life and they do. No matter what they have been through they still have joy and enjoy life.

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to spend some girl time with Sadie.  She was so excited when I asked her if she wanted to go with me to pick up Adam. As I walked over, bent down, and picked up her leash she went wild. She knew it was really going to happen!

She hopped in the car and couldn’t have been happier. She was loving life just going for a ride. I love her because she reminds me of the simple things in life like enjoying the ride and not worrying so much about where I am taking her. She doesn’t worry about every bump or turn because she knows I am going to take care of her.
