Last week was definitely not boring:

  • Adam, our youngest turned 8 yrs old. I can’t believe it has been 8 yrs.
  • ROCK Church staff had two days of planning for next year-my brain hurt.
  • Our Nana almost took a ride in an ambulance.
  • I had a migraine that lasted almost 2 days. Ugh! I hate those things.
  • One of my Kid’s ROCK kids and daughter to my good friends, Helen and Johnny, broke her arm. Again!
  • I had an extra boy at my house Friday night and Saturday. He is a great young man, but I had complete testerone overload with 4 boys. Of course Bryan took Saturday morning to study. LOL
  • I can’t believe I can feel my fingers or toes after watching the boys play football yesterday in the cold and rain. Adam’s team won and Noah’s team lost.
  • Gabriel and I watched Sabrina with Julia Ormond and Harrison Ford today. Noah said it was a chick flick and Gabriel said, “Uncle Matthew watches chick flicks.”
  • On the way to Adam’s party today, Gabriel hurled on the side of my car. It was quite gross. He was fine afterwards so of course we went on to the party.
  • Adam had his birthday party at the skating rink this afternoon.
  • Adam said one of the funniest things I have heard in a long time. He asked me if natural gas came from humans. It was hilarious because he was sincere not kidding!

Last week was a good one with many unforgettable moments.

Family Time

Tonight we celebrated Don’s birthday. He is a wonderful guy married to my sister in law Abbye. He is a huge football fan and played for Cornell.

Noah, Adam, Don and Reagan (Don and Abbye’s son)  played football in our ginormous backyard. It was hilarious. Noah sent Adam inside to get a helmet and shoulder pads that are Noah’s. Adam put on all the gear and went head to head with his brother.  Anytime Adam would get the ball he would pass it to Don because he didn’t want to get tackled. This strategy didn’t work too well for the backyard game. There was no referee to call penalties, so it  was every man and child for himself.

These boys are tired and dirty.
