Today, I worked on a project that was purely out of love for my husband. His side of the closet was bursting at the seams with clothes he never wears. Some are completely out of style and others are not the style he wears any more.

He has become a kind of jean snob, and it is all my fault. I decided to update his wardrobe a while ago and he fell in love with a certain brand of jeans. I don’t think I have one article of clothing in my closet that costs as much as one pair. Fortunately, I am a bargain shopper and have found them on clearance and great deals!

I started on the project this morning and then left to go to Adam’s football game. I tried to get as much done as I could so there wouldn’t be much to do on my return. However, all the clothes I had taken out of the closet were now on my bed and spilling onto the floor.

One of the most hilarious items of clothing I found was a pair of leather pants. He wore them many years ago when his hair was bleached blonde. Our oldest son, Gabriel, put them on. We had a good laugh. Gabriel took his Dad’s old ties and put them in his room. He has some ideas for them.
