This past Sunday, some of Kid’s ROCK Staff were teaching about teamwork and working together in the church. Each one of us has a function and without one part we don’t function well. Teamwork is necessary for every area to flow together.
I am thankful I get to serve with some amazing people who work together. Check out what one of our own at ROCK Church wrote about her experience while serving in Kid’s ROCK.
For those of you who still have children that may color on the walls or other places I have a few tips that may help you out.
Stain remover for crayon from your walls or other painted objects: spray WD-40 and wipe up crayon then use 409 to wipe up grease stain from WD-40
Stain remover for marker on objects: rubbing alcohol works great
Stain remover for spills on carpet: blot up stain then mix 1/2 white vinegar 1/2 water and pour on stain and let dry.
How to keep your kitchen table looking somewhat decent: I kept an old vinyl tablecloth for crafts and playdo. I would take this outside after the kids were done with their creative time and shake it out. It saved my table from paint, glitter, glue, and many other craft materials.
Maybe the above ideas will help you keep your sanity. People used to tell me all the time to enjoy the time when my kids were little because they grow up so fast. My oldest is now taller than me. Take time to slow down and enjoy each moment.
