In a few short days, my three sons will be out of school for spring break. I am excited about sleeping late and spending time with them. I am hoping for beautiful weather so we can spend some of it outside.

My plan for today was turned upside down when I ended up in the dentist chair getting crowned, so I decided to plan our menu and activities for next week. By mapping out some ideas it will help me make sure the boys and I are able to do some things together within our budget.

What are you doing for spring break?

Recently, I’ve been trying a few things that are out of the box. One might consider them strange while another ingenious.

I’m not someone who throws caution to the wind and usually jumps in with both feet. I stick a toe in to test the water and check the reaction. My heart is not to do something foolish just for the thrill.

I often think of two different verses:

Proverbs 4:7
Wisdom is the principal thing;
Therefore get wisdom.
And in all your getting, get understanding.

1 Corinthians 10:23
All things are lawful for me, but not all things are helpful;
all things are lawful for me, but not all things edify.

It seems these verses contradict, but they balance. I want to make informed decisions according to Gods word. Sometimes I may be able to do something and it may not be sin but is it wise?
