Each week as I prepare for Sunday, I get so excited that I get to be with kids! They are sponges ready to receive. Making sure each activity we do reinforces what they are learning and each moment we spend with them counts.
Our classes are growing and don’t worry parents you will be hearing from me very soon on plans to address our growth. Growth is exciting! I am praying for God to change our city through each one of us and we will see growth in that prayer.
Children’s ministry is not a one man or woman show. There are three key players in children’s ministry and without each one children’s ministry doesn’t happen. Parents, Children, and Volunteers-each one is extremely important.
I love my kids the most! My family is my number one ministry with Bryan being at the top of course.

Sadie, our labradoodle will be seven years old September 15th. We have had her since she was 5. She was a rescue from an animal shelter 4.5 hrs away.
Last night, she became very sick. I will spare you all the details, but I called the vet first thing this morning. I almost cried on our way to the vet because usually she is so excited to be in the car. She just curled up in a little ball and laid her head down on the seat. She was so pitiful.
They immediately took an Xray, did a stool sample (she was delighted), gave her IV fluids, put her on a special diet for 2 days, gave her antibiotics to take at home, and gave her a shot. All for $19.99, don’t I wish. After all the poking and proding, she crawled under my chair in the vet’s office while the vet told me how serious things were and she could have gone into shock and died.
We made a stop by Petsmart to get doggie diapers. Boy they have come in handy! She has been curled up on one of the boys beds or in Daddy’s chair since we have been home. I never thought I could love an animal so much. When I came home, Noah told me he was crying when I left with her. He was worried about her too.
I think animals are God’s way of showing us his unconditional love. They love you no matter what.
