I made some Brown Basmati rice as a test in this rice cooker. First of all, It was ready in about 30 minutes. It also has a steamer basket that you can cook veggies or fish in. I will definitely be using this. The cooker automatically cuts off when the rice is done and keeps it warm. It was on sale at Target for $16.99. Just an update.
