I love the sound of laughter. There are a few people I know who have a laugh that is contagious. When I am around them and they start laughing, I start laughing.

Tonight I needed to laugh. One of my friends picked up salads, came over and hung out with me. We tried on clothes, put together an event outfit, and watched a movie. We laughed over and over. My face is actually aching a bit, but my heart is glad.

Proverbs 17:22 (ESV) A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.

Tonight, my Expedition will be full of friends my son invited to Flipside Live! with him. The young men and ladies are from different backgrounds, but they all have something in common, they are teenagers. Being a teenager brings with it many challenges adults forget about. I am guilty of forgetting what it was like being a teenager.

Flipside Live! gives teenagers an opportunity to spend time together, sing music that reaches them and gives a relevant message. Adults come to serve them and love them like Jesus does.  Jesus told us to love one another as he has loved us. I don’t know about you, but Jesus has loved me a lot.
