This morning I started my day off minding my own business. My good friend Mary was keeping my children while I had a few appointments. It was nice and quiet in the car as I was traveling towards McDonalds to get a McCafe for a little caffeine jolt.
I heard sirens behind me and preceded to slow down and move onto the shoulder of the road. My SUV kept going and I was now stuck in a ditch on my side for the world to see. A nice sheriff’s deputy pulled over to check on me and stayed with me until the wrecker arrived.
I couldn’t get out of this ditch by myself and I needed help. I was slowing down traffic and needed the help of someone else. There have been times I have found myself in a ditch either emotional, physical or spiritually. I needed someone else to help me out.
Today I was in a physical real live ditch and needed the help of a wrecker. I am thankful for God’s protection on me and my car. Don’t be afraid to call for help when you are in a ditch.
