Williamsburg, Virginia is a fun place to vacation and there is so much to do. Here’s where we’ve been so far:

  • The Movie Tavern (movie/restaurant all in one with theater seating)
  • Prime outlets-great sales, I used restraint
  • Busch Gardens-something for everyone, even the non rider
  • Jamestown Settlement-hands on history lesson
  • Mama Steve’s Pancake house-great breakfast
  • The Cheese Shop-delicious! Even serve a PB & J for the kids. Yes!
  • Our wonderful two bedroom & two bathroom hotel suite-great price and service

We still have

  • Water country-tomorrow
  • Busch Gardens to finish-severe thunderstorm shortened our day
  • If weather cooperates- Yorktown Alliance (a schooner ride in the Chesapeake Bay)
  • a Skate park

This vacation has been wonderful for our family. There’s been something for everyone and being together in the hotel room has been fun.  I am thankful that God provided us with this opportunity.

It works

I love it when a product actually does what it says it will do. Many times products don’t live up to my expectations. I want the biggest bang for pocket change.

I recently found a product called “White Brite”. It is amazing because it actually makes dingy whites brite and clean. My boys socks looked like they had trampled sock footed through the mud. I soaked the socks in White Brite overnight in the washing machine and then ran them through a regular wash cycle. The result: clean and bright!

Just wanted to share.
