Yesterday, I was home with Adam. He had a nasty stomach virus that started late Sunday night. I decided I would catch up on our laundry. There were 4 clean baskets full in my room that needed to be folded. I thought it would be inspiring if I actually saw the mounds of dirty laundry disappearing if I put it all in one place.
The upstairs hallway seemed like the best place to sort and pile the dirty clothes. I had no idea how much dirty laundry we had. I knew I was behind, but this was ridiculous.
After 13 loads of washing, drying and folding the hallway was clean and so were the clothes. I also folded the 4 baskets of clothes and put them away.
On my wish list is one of those front loader washing machines and high capacity dryers that can handle 18 pairs of jeans. Maybe I’ll get a set before my boys are grown up and out of the house:)

You TOTALLY need front loaders!!! We had to get some last year when our ancient hand-me-down washer and dryer broke…it was so worth it!
YAY! on the progress!
You’ve inspired me to get something done today
Now I dont feel so bad. I use my hallway as a "sorter" . lol

ok, now I’m feeling better about my laundry. That is alot. I can’t imagine. Glad you got it caught up before your trip though. No one would have had any clothes to wear while you were gone
