I have a new theme! What do you think? Well, my honey did it.

I know I haven’t blogged about my life changing weekend, but I have been visiting with my parents and sister who were here. I also have been letting everything sink in.

I shared on Sunday, how this has felt like a wedding to me. I have been excited for the transition of Bryan becoming senior pastor and me the first lady, but also nervous. When a couple are married the wife isn’t sure of her role and has to learn her way. I have been a pastor’s wife for 14 years, but never a senior pastors wife. The last several months have been amazing as God has been preparing me for this.

The time we spent this weekend with family and friends has been wonderful. Friday night we had The ROCK’s Got Talent. We really do have talent! Saturday evening we had a BBQ with some delicious pig by Mike and Melissa Edwards. This was a time for our staff and family to pray over us and share words with us. Sunday morning was more than I could have imagined. The love and support I have felt has been great.

Carolyn did an amazing job on the video for the 20th anniversary. Wow! Pastors Ron and Norma have laid a strong foundation.
