I love to read and I am reading 3 books right now. Sometimes I wonder why, but they are all for different purposes.

The Big Idea by Dave Ferguson, Eric Bramlett and Jon Ferguson is an amazing big that our whole staff is reading. I am excited about the journey we will take with this book.

 I have been seeking wisdom and knowledge for dealing with headaches. I recently found a book Heal Your Headache written by a neurologist at Johns Hopkins. His approach to dealing with headaches is very different from any doctor I have visited. I am on day 2 of the plan and will keep you posted.

I have started reading for fun and found Desperate Pastors’ Wives on Brandi Wilson’s blog. The title cracked me up! It is the first in the Secrets From Lulu’s Cafe series. I will write a review on this one when I am finished.

What are you reading right now?

It has been way too long since I posted. This is what has been going on.

• A friend’s father passed away
• I had a monster migraine on Saturday
• Matthew and Jen came over for Shrimp and Grits and chocolate chip pie. We were celebrating his 2 yr anniversary on staff at ROCK Church. (will post recipes for Shrimp and Grits and chocolate chip pie)
• Kid’s ROCK volunteer staff meeting Sunday night went great!
• Lunch with some of our great leaders at ROCK Church
• Adam scored another touch down- Go son, Go!
• All the boys are doing extremely well in school- I am so proud.
• Went to a student led conference at Gabriel’s school where we discussed his work- he is so smart and his teachers love him!

I will try and keep my posts up. I have a couple great posts coming this week that will inspire you.
