Not just another orange

8 centimeters is the size of this orange. Why am I holding an orange? What a strange picture? Not if you are me.

8.5 centimeters is the size of two cysts that have joined themselves to my left ovary. An ovary should be the size of a walnut, but because of these two cysts mine is a little larger than this orange.

Back in September, I had two cysts removed and 4 weeks later 3 more larger cysts had appeared. Since then, I have been going to the doctor frequently to check on the progress of these cysts. The cysts had been shrinking and I was doing great, but about 6 weeks ago I noticed a change in my pain level and energy level. On Tuesday, January 29th the cysts are coming out.

I have been reading different bloggers post about what they want to accomplish this year and I have been reluctant to set my personal goals. I don’t know if it is because I have been in so much physical pain, but I have decided to post them here and now. These are not ministry goals, but my goals for me.

Goals for this year:

1. Start guitar lessons before the year is out (David, I will be giving you a call)

2. Read one book a month. (Almost done with Simplify your Time)

3. Keep the garage clean for a whole year.

4. Start learning Spanish

5. Training for Olympic gold
6. Take over the world
7. Continue Pig Latin studies
