Mark 10:45 (NLT) For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others.

After reading a friends blog I began to think about 1 Corinthians 13:4-8.

4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 8Love never fails.

Bryan and I have been married for 13 years and I love him very much, but there are times when I do not show myself lovely. If I really loved everyone like 1 Cor. 13 then those who do not know Jesus would see Him in me. They would see me expressing love to my family and others.

There are times when I am rude when I really have a right to be or do I? It seems I continually come back to this passage because “God so loved the world” and He wants me to love the world too. It seems I am still learning to love.
