Abs wrote a post If I could and posed the question “So -what would you do right now if you could without fear of failure or retribution”. I am going to change it a little and add if money were no object too.
I would:
- Get a massage every week
- Take my kids on a Disney Cruise for Christmas
- Spend a two week vacation with my husband where the phones dont work
- Take voice lessons
- Write a book called Sailing through the Storms ( I think I have experienced a few)
- Find time to take guitar lessons again I sure did enjoy taking them
- Take all my Kids ROCK volunteers with me to the C3 Kids Conference in Feb. and pick up the tab. They are so wonderful.
- Take each of my children on their own dream vacation
- Buy new bedroom furniture ( I love my bed, just the other pieces)
- Take Noah to a Dallas Cowboys or Panthers Football game and sit on the 50 yard line
- Take Gabriel to Oxford and walk where C.S. Lewis taught
- Buy my husband a Jeep rubicon
What would you do if you could?

It seems as though I am going back to school. I have started doing pre Algebra again so I can check my son’s homework. I thought I was done with anything to do with math when I struggled through an online graduate level Statistics course 2 years ago. I made it out with a B and I was ecstatic.
Today though I have walked back into the science lab. My son Noah needed help with a science project and I was actually excited about this one. My degree is a Bachelor of Science degree and I took 5 semesters of science each with a lab, so I am a science nerd.
Noah is in the 4th grade and he had chosen an interesting science project. Bryan had picked up our supplies on his way home from work last night. Noah and I were prepared to begin our data collection. Noah had decided to figure out which topping burns the fastest on bread.
We took our toaster oven, five toppings, five slices of whitewheat bread, and the rest of our supplies to the garage. I had decided this was the best place to do burn bread. I didn’t want the house smelling like burnt bread for days. We took a stopwatch to time each piece of bread. I was amazed which burned the fastest.
You will have to stay tuned to see which one won out. Noah hasn’t turned in his report yet.
