Writing Hiatus

Have you ever been so busy you wondered if sleeping was really necessary? Spending time with my family was a must, but I imagined I could sneak out of bed when they were all asleep and go back to work. It seemed like a good idea in theory however by 9:30 pm I was in a deep sleep every night and my body limp.

I am having the time of my life leading Kids ROCK! Volunteers are coming to me and asking how they can get involved which is every leaders dream. I have also recruited people who have somehow indicated a desire to work with children.

Last Sunday was the day we went live with curriculum in every classroom, nursery teams with a team leader and changed the way Faithstation (6-9 yr olds) happened. It was pretty much a do or die day. It was great overall with course corrections for this week.

This Sunday brings even more excitement with the Heroes series starting in Faithstation. We have been working on props for 2 weeks and they are amazing. I am so thankful to the volunteers that have worked dilligently to make them excellent.

When I feel overwhelmed I remember that God spoke to me to love the kids, their parents, the volunteers and have fun. Then they would love Him.
