New Beginnings

While my husband was in big church sharing his heart on “New Beginnings”, I was down the hall starting my new beginning. I cannot say enough how wonderful my assistant Cheryll was yesterday. She guided me through every twist and turn.
Volunteers stepped up yesterday and went the extra mile to help me out. I am thankful to Pastor Rodney for those he recruited and trained. Yesterday would have been difficult without all those who served . I am so glad I am a part of such an awesome family.
I am excited about where God is taking me and children’s ministry. Here we go.

Neal and I are so excited- we’re finally going to get a chance to do what we’ve been dreaming about for years. I keep wanting to pinch myself. I can’t believe I got up the nerve to ask you!
Also- the curriculum choices are looking very good. Ours sounds great, I love the way you’re rearranging the ages- our Mike was one of the slow movers. He hated the 3&4 class but wasn’t allowed to change. We snuck him back into the 2′s a few times, though!
And I love it that you’re going to have a curriculum for the babies now. It will make nursery more fun.
